Future-tech\u2019s industry leading design team employed a thorough and pragmatic approach ensuring all areas were rigorously assessed and improvements holistically embraced the project\u2019s strategic outcomes.<\/p>\n
To improve resilience, operational sustainability, energy efficiency and the costs associated with the data centre construction and operation of a 650 cabinet, 4MW data centre. Future-tech worked in accordance with the Uptime Institute and EN50600 standards to provide an unbiased appraisal of the data centre design which had been completed by a third party design consultancy.<\/p>\n
Future-tech\u2019s amended data centre design removed single points of failure, increased energy efficiency throughout the facility, most markedly in the cooling infrastructure, and reduced data centre construction costs by 8-12%.<\/p>\n
The revised data centre design solution provided the client with a different selection of Air Handling Plant, Transformers and Generators, which all contributed to lower construction cost, greater operational resilience and improved energy efficiency.<\/p>\n
Future-tech introduced a mixture of traditional and leading edge technical solutions together with an innovative data centre design philosophy.<\/p>\n
