<\/p>\n\n\n\nFuture-tech are proud to be continuing our support as Grove Level partners of Eden Reforestation Projects, an organisation working in some of the world\u2019s most remote locations to enable reforestation projects and local community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Putting the local community at the centre of Eden Reforestation Project\u2019s work is key to their success thus far. Eden uses a \u2018bottom-up\u2019 approach, building relationships with these communities and their leaders, who then in turn lead the planting projects and offer a chance to build citizens\u2019 commitments to restore and protect their local environment and forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By working with local communities, it inspires a sense of ownership to not only commit to reforestation in their country, but to also help protect their environment for future generations as well as providing each community with much-needed employment opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Future-tech understands the importance of protecting our natural environment<\/a> for ourselves and future generations. We strive to both adhere to sustainable working practices and energy efficient designs in the data centre world, and to contribute with a global conservation project to further help our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The success of Eden\u2019s projects and the communities\u2019 success are inextricably linked; with the support of organisations such as Future-tech, Eden can continue to help create livelihoods for thousands of local people and protect landscapes on a large scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Future-tech supports two specific Eden Reforestation Projects: The Mahubo site in Mozambique, and Kitiligini site in Kenya. We have enjoyed watching these projects grow and flourish over the last couple of years, with their focus on restoring vital local forests for the benefit of biodiversity and livelihoods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As we continue to support Eden Reforestation Projects, we look forward to hearing about their progress over the rest of 2024.
